Decades of personal, professional and educational experiences have shaped who I am as a therapist and helped me develop my individualized and client-centered approach to healing and growth.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I was President and CEO of a large warehouse and distribution center based in Chicago, IL. After 20 years working in the business world, I faced a family crisis and witnessed the power of therapy first hand. It was time to pursue my lifelong dream offering professional support to people facing individual struggles.

After I graduated with my master’s degree in clinical psychology, I worked in an adolescent psychiatric hospital for six months, helping inpatients and developing a summer program for outpatient teens. As part of my internship, I helped incarcerated women develop bonding techniques with their babies and toddlers. It was due to this work that I was nominated for the prestigious award of “California Woman of the Year.”

My work with teens and families eventually sparked my interest in assisting couples. I learned how important the bond is between partners. I decided to specialize in relationship counseling because I love to be a part of couples’ transformations, watch them grow together and help them nurture revitalized bonds.

Aside from my professional work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, painting, traveling, exercising and cooking. In my community, I serve on a couple of neighborhood committees and local boards, including working as an on-call therapist for the suicide prevention board in the desert. Pro bono, I also teach important life skills at a local shelter.

After 20 years of therapy experience, I know how painful life challenges can be. I also know that with the help of an experienced therapist, you can learn more about yourself and effectively work toward a fulfilling life. I’m here to help you reach your goals and further your growth.

If you would like to learn more about how I work or how therapy can help you, I invite you to call to discuss your needs and setup an appointment.
